The session has voted that in-person services will be suspended until there are 14 consecutive days of declining COVID-19 cases in Tarrant County. In the meantime, we will be continuing to host services on Zoom and Facebook Live. Contact the Church Office for more information.
Session met and decided that in-person meetings will be suspended through the end of July 2020. We will continue to host virtual services on zoom and through Facebook Live.
This week we will be receiving the One Great Hour of Sharing offering: an extra-opportunity offering that supports Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Service, and Self-Development of People.
In the 58th chapter of the book of Isaiah, God issues a call and a challenge: to love one another more deeply by sharing what we have with those in need. Together we become the household of God where those seeking shelter, food and renewed hope are welcome. In this time of pandemic, isolation, and uncertainty, this call and challenge is as important as ever; contributions to OGHS will provide assistance to local and national agencies and will touch tens of thousands of lives. Remember, if we all do a little, it adds up to a lot!
Contributions to the OGHS offering can be made through the Ridglea web-site (ridgleapres.org) or by dropping a check in the mail (5000 Southwest Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76116-9112); please make sure to note your offering to One Great Hour of Sharing / OGHS.
The session voted to suspend services through April. In the midst of this pandemic, the RPC relocation committee is in the process of moving stuff from River Oaks to Southwest Blvd. We will be streaming the services live at 10:30am at our new location for the foreseeable future.
Ridglea Presbyterian Church will be suspending in-person services and activities including meetings and Sunday School on March 15, 2020 and March 22, 2020. We will live stream the service on our Facebook Page at 10am on both Sundays.
