A group of approximately 15 volunteer adult singers with widely varying musical backgrounds. This choir provides the primary musical leadership for worship at Ridglea Presbyterian Church. Its repertoire ranges from spirituals to music of the Renaissance to contemporary works; from John Rutter to J.S. Bach. While the preparation and performance of liturgical music for worship is our primary mission, we also enjoy the performance of major works. The choir rehearses every Wednesday of the year from 7:30-8:30 p.m. No audition is required.
Meets during the 11:00 service every Sunday. Any child 4 years old through 1st grade is welcome to participate! Mary Hanson will teach basic rhythm and songs about bible stories to be presented on the last Sunday of every month.
