DEACON FOR A DAY

Have you ever said "Call me if you need anything!" and meant it? The Deacons are compiling a list of members who are willing to help out when there is a need.

Everyone needs help sometime and we all have different abilities and resources. What kind of assistance can you give? Could you:

 · Take someone to an appointment during the day?

· Go to the pharmacy and pick up a prescription for a sick friend? 

· Lend a helping hand to clean up someone's yard after a storm?

 Perhaps you have special equipment you wouldn't mind lending - a trailer, chainsaw, or pickup truck. There are so many ways you can help— won't you consider becoming a Deacon for a Day?  We'll try to not call you more than once every few months - and remember, if you can't help when you're asked, just say no and we'll ask someone else on the list.
